TCEQ-Approved Class A/B UST Operator Course!

This new and improved TFFA Course has been approved by the TCEQ, and every effort has been made to ensure the 2.5 hours is the most efficient use of your time.

Learning Objectives

The training is specific to the TCEQ’s regulations for Texas and will consist of 7 lessons. At the end of the training, with successful completion, students will be able to immediately print their TFFA Certificate of Completion.

Topics Covered 

This course will cover important information for each of the following lessons:

• Class A, B, and C Operator roles, and responsibilities
• Overview of UST systems
• General operation of a UST system
• Corrosion protection
• Release detection
• Financial assurance 
• Release reporting and confirmation

Seat Time

Approximately 2.5 hours of training plus the time it takes for students to pass the quiz after each lesson. 

Testing

There is a quiz at the end of each lesson. Students are required to pass each quiz (at least 70% correctly answered questions) prior to advancing to the next lesson. After passing each quiz, the student will gain certification as a Texas-certified Class A-B UST Operator.

Course Completion

Upon completion of the course, a Certificate of Completion can be downloaded.
